Is there a fee for KS4 Students?

Yes, fees are payable by the referring school, local authority or agency responsible for referring the young person.

Question 2

Can a 16+ register with CEO independently?

Young people 16+ are welcome to register with us. We do require contact details for either parent/guardian, key worker, or social worker.

Will work experience be part of the programme?

Accepted Answer

We aim to offer work experience to everyone attending CEO's programmes. However, this will depend on the young person's progress and attitude, as well as available opportunities at the time. Work experience will range from work within the community, site placements and/or work on a CEO Self-Build Project.

Is there guaranteed employment after training is completed?

Opportunities will be presented as and when we will be in talks with companies, job centre and recruitment agencies.

Our aim is to place every trainee with an employer for a minimum of 3 months, to develop their skills, confidence and make constructive decisions about the field they wish to pursue going forward.

A bespoke programme shall be delivered, aimed at trainees who would prefer to become self-employed. We will help you to prepare a business plan, budget and cashflow spreadsheet, advertise your business, as well as help you build a customer database.

What are the entry criteria for enrolment to CEO?

Our criteria is very simply, we want you to join a CEO Programme, because it's what you desire! Enrolment is only part of the journey, to maintain your placement, we require you to comply to APGA:

Attendance, Punctuality and Good Attitude😊

Question 6

What are the hours of training?

It depends on the age group. KS3/4 students start at 9:30am and finish at 2:30pm, while young people  aged 16+ start at 8:30am and finish at 4:00pm. This is because we are preparing those who are working age to be ready to work in the construction industry. Construction workers are expected to be on site between the hours of 7.30pm-5pm!

Evening classes to be confirmed, 5pm-8pm.

Will a recognised qualification be gained?
