A massive thank you to Viv for this opportunity for us to learn new life skills that will stay with us forever and we can apply straight away into our daily lives.

You have definitely impacted my life and I want to thank you again for the opportunity to learn DIY electrical and plumbing.

The weekend with you and the other students was filled full of fun learning and supporting each other.

It's even got me thinking that I could change my sockets to the ones with the usb ports if I wanted to.

I was also looking at my radiator and remembering the steps on how to hang it.

My friend has already asked if I am coming to help her DIY🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

The course was really, really excellent ! Basic skills that I should’ve learnt much sooner, I should've learnt them in school, actually, or at least in college. It should've been part of the curriculum. Just recognising how easy it is, because we had a really, really good tutor who broke it down very simply, and I was so proud of myself to have wired a plug, wired a switch as well, made the light come on and all...

So thanks very much for all of that. I will be sharing with friends and family.

Just completed a weekend electrical and plumbing DIY course at the Young Lewisham Project with the inspirational non-profit Construction and Engineering Opportunities (CEO) organisation.
Thanks to Viviene Bedeau and Surinder for helping to coach us the basics of electrics and plumbing in such a fun and informative way.
